Student Volunteer Engagement staff are available to meet with students, organizations and departments to identify meaningful service experiences in the community that connect with each group’s mission and goals.
Volunteer 101 trainings and consultations are designed for any individual student, student group, or department who is looking for a service opportunity. This workshop is prepared from start to finish with various activities designed to educate students on how to define service and how to create a service project, starting with identifying the needs of the community partner and moving all the way through the event to reflection after the event is over.
We are also happy to meet with local community partners interested in learning more about our services and how to successfully collaborate.
